Wohoo! Finally my four chosen polishes from China Glaze’s fall collection, Metro, has arrived!! 😀
I chose Skyscraper, Trendsetter and Midtown Magic from the Downtown set and CG in the City from the Uptown set.
I might get more, but don’t know yet.
Today I’m going to show you Skyscraper, which was my hands down favourite from swatches I have seen so far.
I like it ALOT! It’s lots of silver glitter in a dark blue jelly. This is 2 coats:
As you can see I have the wrong bottle in my hand. I grabbed “the” polish and went outside to take the picture and ended up having to walk a little to find sun as I took the pictures quite late. When I was ready to take the pictures I realised I had the wrong polish with me and I couldn’t be bother to go back and change. Hope you forgive me!? 😉 (The bottle is China Glaze CG in the City)
So, what do you think? It is a beauty, isn’t it? 🙂
The only negative was that the formula was abit “gooey”, but some thinner will probably do the trick there.
I also have a little sneakpeek of all four, as I swatched them each on a nail to try them out:
From left: Skyscraper, Trendsetter, CG in the City and Midtown Magic.
Of the four I actually love Trendsetter and Midtown Magic the most! How crazy is that? Especially with Skyscraper being blue and CG in the City being abit purple AND they’re both glitters!? Someone call a doctor, I must be ill… 😛
Talking about doctors, that’s what’s occupied my free time lately. Me and my boyfriend are completely hooked on House! We’re now about to start season 3 and there is in total 7 seasons (so far)! phew!
One last thing before I say good night. I just remembered that when I showed you Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Grass Slipper I told you that I layered it the after. With KleanColor Chunky Holo Clover of course! And HERE it finally is:
Whatcha think? 🙂
Good night all nail polish junkies!
xx Karoline! 🙂
Hello everyone! 🙂
Hope you’ve all had a nice weekend! Gosh, it went by very fast! My mum had her birthday yesterday and celebrating it both yesterday and today with barbeque and cakes and also a very good friend of us have finished her Masters Degree and invited us all to celebrate on saturday and she served cake as well. Wow! We’ve eaten alot!! haha..
I did a mani last night that ended up a disaster! haha.. I have to prepare myself for posting it! 😛 I didn’t have time last night, but today I redid my nails as soon as I had time and this time I tried out OPI’s Navy Shatter on top of China Glaze IDK from the OMG collection.
Funny how Blue Shatter ends up being the last one I’ll test out of the three blue-toned shatters from OPI..
Here you have beautiful China Glaze IDK on it’s own:
I think this is one of my favourite nail polishes. Well, at least a safe one. I’ll always love my nails wearing this one, so if I can’t decide what to wear I might put this one on! 🙂
And here with a coat of OPI Navy Shatter on top and then 2 coats with Seche Vite to seal it on top of that:
I’m happy with this one as well.. Haha, I feel like I’m saying that about everything lately! (Apart from my disastrous mani earlier this weekend)
There’s so many pretty colours and combinations! If only I had the time to change twice a day! (Thank god really, that wouldn’t be very nice to my nails..)
Hope you enjoyed this one!? 🙂
Any of you who have any of the China Glaze OMG polishes or OPI Shatters? If yes, which ones? 🙂
Have a great start on a new week everyone! 🙂
xx Karoline 🙂
Good evening everybody! Wow! Two posts in one day! Don’t get used to this. 😉
When I wore Isa Dora Sky Blue i read this blog post at The Swatchaholic and just had to give it a go!
So I continued to sandwich OPI White Shatter with China Glaze Blue Iguana, which is a jelly, layered on top. Didn’t get a picture of this in very good lightning, but here’s the best one I got:
I love the result! And what I love even more that this gives us one more way to wear the shatter/crackle polishes.
What do you think? Is this a way you would wear your shatter/crackle polishes?
Hello there everyone!
After a long time uploading iPhone pictures every other day of my new manis on Facebook, it’s decided; I’m starting a new blog! Mainly about nail polish, but with a mix of photography, which is also one of my biggest hobbies, and once in a while just what’s going on in life. 🙂
Im starting this blog with a mani that I did a week ago or so;
China Glaze Sea Spray + Nfu-Oh 54 with Essie Matte About You on top:I just love flakies mattified!! 🙂
Here’s all the products I used this time. I won’t always picture everything I used as I don’t se the point of picturing Seche Vite, which is the top coat that I (almost) always use, everytime.
So what do you guys think?
I really hope you will enjoy this! 🙂
And before I say good night and go to bed I have to thank a good friend of mine, Trond Rasmussen for being so creative and suggesting Nationail Photographic as the name for my new nail/photo blog! 🙂
Good Night! Until next time, take care! 🙂
