After this post I will be on holiday for a week. 🙂 😦 Both happy and sad face, happy because of course I want to go on a holiday and sad because I think I will miss the blog.. 😛
The polish I’m going to show you today Is one of the 2 polishes from The Mythicals Collection that has been given alot of attention;
A England Lady of the Lake. (the second one being Tristam)
I must admit, seeing all the pictures posted around the internet of this one, I never really understood the fuzz about it.
Now I do. After seeing it in real life. It’s a hard polish to capture in pictures.
Everyone who enjoy purple, holo, shimmer and good opacity should own this one.
It was a real dream to apply, this is 2 coats, but 1 thick could have been enough.
I did manage to get one picture where the subtle holo effect shows, here it is;
It’s not much, but it’s just enough to make this stunning, but at the same time very sophisticated.
Perfect for those who love holographic polishes, but doesn’t necessarily want everyone to look at her hands ALL the time 😉
Do you own any A England polishes? Which ones and what do you think of them?
A England polishes can you get HERE, and they ship to Norway for £3, which is not bad at all.
Hope your next week will be great, mine surely will! 😀
Take Care for now!
xx Karoline 🙂
Hello everyone! What I’m going to show you today must be the most fab thing I’ve ever had on my nails and I’m not going to hide that it’s inspired of The Swatchaholic!
I have a new, very good friend who has started to get her nails done by me about once a week. And she just got back from Germany where she was in Berlin and some city in Poland and did a little nail polish shopping for me. The two Golden Rose polishes came from her, not sure where she bought them though.. Give me a shout if you’re interested and I’ll ask her! 🙂
Well, let’s get to the nails, this is Golden Rose 194 by it’s own:
And here it is with Golden Rose 166 on top:
And now, the awesomeness! With KleanColor Chunky Holo Black on top of that:
This really deserved 3 pictures! Im in awe! And can’t get enough of looking at my nails! WOW 😀
The Golden Rose polishes were a dream to apply, the blue was a 2-coater and I had one coat of the glitter one. The glitter spread perfectly, not like some glitter polishes where you either get nothing or you get too much all lumped.
Apart from that the KleanColor polishes really STINK, they really are lovely. Great to apply, looks fantastic and dries pretty fast.
So, what do you think of this?
Take Care, everyone 🙂
xx Karoline 🙂
We finally have internet again, abit earlier than we thought as the landlord have fixed the internet, but we’re still getting our own installed as the internet provider the landlord has is not very trustworthy.. One day theres signal, another day there’s not.. 😛
One day I was just looking around eBay I stumbled over this beauty, and as you probably hear from the name this is a christmas polish from the OPI Holiday Wishes collection 2009. I present to you OPI Merry Midnight:
So beautiful that it deserves more than 1 picture! 🙂 Please click to enlarge them.
It’s when it’s sunny this one should be worn to be able to see all the beautiful details!
This is a now HTF polish that has a dark purple jelly base with blue/purple glitter and silver microshimmer, and irregular flakies that flash orange, red, green and yellow.
Can you believe it?? I have never seen such a great polish from OPI! Why don’t they make polishes like this more often?
The application was flawless, this is 2 coats with one coat of SV on top. And the best thing, I was dreading the removal, but it wasn’t really a problem at all!! Yay! 🙂
Seriously, if you don’t already have this one, you HAVE to get it before it’s too late! 🙂
Tomorrow my best friend who lives in Oslo is coming to visit, so I don’t think there’ll be alot of blogging this weekend, but you’ll definately hear from me on Monday 🙂
Take Care everyone!
Hello everyone! 🙂
Hope you’ve all had a nice weekend! Gosh, it went by very fast! My mum had her birthday yesterday and celebrating it both yesterday and today with barbeque and cakes and also a very good friend of us have finished her Masters Degree and invited us all to celebrate on saturday and she served cake as well. Wow! We’ve eaten alot!! haha..
I did a mani last night that ended up a disaster! haha.. I have to prepare myself for posting it! 😛 I didn’t have time last night, but today I redid my nails as soon as I had time and this time I tried out OPI’s Navy Shatter on top of China Glaze IDK from the OMG collection.
Funny how Blue Shatter ends up being the last one I’ll test out of the three blue-toned shatters from OPI..
Here you have beautiful China Glaze IDK on it’s own:
I think this is one of my favourite nail polishes. Well, at least a safe one. I’ll always love my nails wearing this one, so if I can’t decide what to wear I might put this one on! 🙂
And here with a coat of OPI Navy Shatter on top and then 2 coats with Seche Vite to seal it on top of that:
I’m happy with this one as well.. Haha, I feel like I’m saying that about everything lately! (Apart from my disastrous mani earlier this weekend)
There’s so many pretty colours and combinations! If only I had the time to change twice a day! (Thank god really, that wouldn’t be very nice to my nails..)
Hope you enjoyed this one!? 🙂
Any of you who have any of the China Glaze OMG polishes or OPI Shatters? If yes, which ones? 🙂
Have a great start on a new week everyone! 🙂
xx Karoline 🙂
